The sun outside is setting down
Shadows forming all around
The daytime hours were once so bright
Now closing our eyes on this final night
The thoughts in our head take us away
Back to the dreams we had yesterday
Remembering times of childhood fun
Never once thinking those days would be done
The shadows grow larger as darkness now falls
We once felt so big but now feel so small
This final light is blinding our eyes
