Things I’ve Learned

Love can make you both happy and sad within a short period of time.

Rainy days can usually be as much fun as sunny days.

Smiles are contagious.

It’s good to be able to trust, but sometimes even your best friend may
abuse it.

As you look up at the stars remember, there may be other people looking back at you.

Injuries hurt, but mom always makes them feel better.

It’s important to stay positive, even when you think you can’t.

Sometimes you may hurt inside and wonder how you can go on, and then
later you realize that it wasn’t as bad as you thought.

It’s important to not let things bother you, because there are people
in other places who wish they could experience what you do.

Always be thankful for what you have.

True friends always stick by you and support you, although at times
they may disagree with what you have done.

Sometimes it’s good to be alone.

People rush too much and miss out on moments that may never come back.

Friends may come and go, but family is always there.

Books are a great way to experience another time and place.

It’s always important to be responsible as an adult, but never forget
to play like a child.

Being angry doesn’t hurt anyone but yourself.

It’s good to have an opinion, but sometimes opinions are best kept to yourself.

Always live today as if it were your last, because you never know
what tomorrow will bring.

It’s good to make decisions with your head, but sometimes it’s better
to follow your heart.
