Jamie - Part 2

Love is something, which means so much
A look in your eyes, feeling your touch.
Friendship and happiness, many moments of love
Then in an instant, it’s thrown out like a glove.
A lifetime of joy, I thought I had found
Never aware, that my words were just sounds.
Crying and shaking, into the night
Feeling the pain, of such a sharp knife.
Down on the floor, gasping in pain
Looking for answers, going insane.
So many tears, running down my sad face
Feeling as if, my life’s a disgrace.
Darkness, sadness, pressures and fears
Love isn’t strong if it crumbles and tears.
Honesty, happiness, and true love I gave
Never knowing for once, I was digging my grave.
Icy cold fingers, clutch at my soul
Throwing me down, into this dark hole.
Always believing, it was true love at last
Never once knowing, it would end so fast.
I always believed, that love was strong
Then in an instant, I was proven so wrong.
Choices, decisions, not made from the heart
The pressure of life, tore love apart.
