Pounding
Like a thunderous rain inside my head
Pounding
Like a hammer beating on the roof of my life
Pounding
Like a continuous knocking upon my soul
Pounding
Like a boulder crashing down inside me
Pounding
Like my head forever banging against the wall
Pounding
Like my heart beating itself to exhaustion
